Legal notice, privacy policy and terms of service for Prisme. Last updated 23 September 2026.

Privacy policy

This policy explains how Prisme handles personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

1. Information we collect about clients

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number.
  • Your CV, work history, qualifications and certificates.
  • Your job preferences: sectors, locations, availability.
  • Messages exchanged with us and with employers who reply to your campaign.

We collect this information directly from you, by email or through the documents you send us.

2. Information about employer contacts

Our database holds business contact information about people who make hiring decisions: name, role, company and work email address. We use it only to send job-search emails on behalf of our clients. Every email identifies who it is sent for and includes a way to opt out, as required by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). If you are a contact in our database and want to be removed, email contact@prismedata.io and we will remove you.

3. How we use your information

To assess whether we can help you, prepare your documents, set up your professional email address, run your campaign, forward and track employer replies, and invoice you. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

4. Who we share it with

  • Employers we contact on your behalf, who receive your email, CV and cover letter.
  • Service providers that help us run the service: email hosting and sending, AI writing tools, data storage, payments. They may process data outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it.
  • Partner organisations, if you came to us through one, limited to the progress report they have agreed with you.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

5. Storage, security and retention

We store information with access limited to the people who need it. We keep client information for 2 years after the end of your campaign, then delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

6. Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted by emailing contact@prismedata.io. We reply within 30 days.

7. Cookies

This website only uses essential cookies, needed for it to work and load securely. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use cookies to build a profile of you. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, may set technical cookies for security and performance.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work, although some features may load more slowly.

8. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your information, email us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Prisme's service. Your written scope sets out the details of your campaign and forms part of these terms.

1. The service

We find employer contacts matched to the job you want, prepare an Australian-format CV and cover letter, set up a dedicated professional email address, write and send emails to employers with follow-ups, and forward every reply to you. The exact scope and duration are confirmed in writing before we start.

2. No guarantee of employment

We do not guarantee that you will get an interview or a job. Hiring decisions are made by employers. We are responsible for delivering the service described in your scope.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Give us accurate information about your experience, qualifications and right to work in Australia.
  • Review and approve your documents and target list before the campaign starts.
  • Check your inbox and answer employers yourself.
  • Use your professional email address only for your job search.

4. Fees and payment

The fee and when it is due are set out in your written scope.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Fees are non-refundable. The only exception is a service we have not delivered: if we do not deliver part of the service described in your scope, we refund the fee for that part. Nothing in these terms excludes the consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Your documents and our data

Your CV and cover letter are yours to keep and use. Our contact database stays ours: it is used only inside the service and is not sold, exported or handed over.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service or refunding the fee you paid for it. This does not limit any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. Changes do not apply to a campaign already under way without your agreement. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
